Second User Items

Below we have items we have obtained through customer takeback or recycling initiatives.

Items are for local sale (as we do not trade mail order) and are generally sold "as working" (unless otherwise described).

Most items have been checked for functionality, but the older items are more likely to have been used for longer.

This is reflected in the price, so if you want a short term fix, some of the items here are great bargains.

Systems

Rebuilt PCs

We have rebuilt a few machines, priced realistically

. Rebuilt machines are effectively repairs from systems donated to us.

. They are useful as second machines or machines which do not store important documents.

. Basically they are older so are more likely to fail than a new system, however they are a fraction of the cost.

. If you have an old failing PC particularly if it has fake windows software, these make a good way to get a legal working system.

. Rebuilt machines carry a 3 month repair or replace warranty.

. The cost of data transfer from another machine to one of these systems starts at £20 Inc VAT.

Laptops

  • We unfortunately do not trade in laptops due to the likelyhood of stolen goods or faulty parts. Most people only replace a laptop once it becomes unreliable.
  • We do have a number of second hand parts for laptop repair, please give us a call or ideally drop in and we can check compatability.

Desks

We have a brand new IKEA Krister Desk (alumininium desk with monitor at angle) £20+VAT

Or a second hand version at £10+VAT

We carry a AMD Socket 939 and Intel Socket 775 boards for repairs.

Memory

  • We have various smaller capacity DDR and DDR2 modules in stock

We have a rare PC133 512MB module (10+VAT) as well, although this works in only a few specific motherboards, so bring your PC in for a trial fitting if you want this.

  • We also have some smaller capacity SODIMMS (256MB)PC2700 and PC3200 at £5+VAT each
  • Two 512MB PC5300 SODIMMs £10+VAT each

Floppy/ZIP

  • Panasonic White Floppy Disk Drive - £0.50 + VAT
  • TEAC Corp Black Floppy Disk Drive - £0.50 + VAT
  • 250MB ZIP Drive - £0.50 + VAT


We also have some unused LS120 media £1+VAT a cartridge (12 in stock).
